Duty of confidentiality

All staff at the Child Welfare Tribunal are bound by a duty of confidentiality.

The duty of confidentiality also applies to persons who take on assignments for the tribunal, such as spokespersons for children. Persons subject to a duty of confidentiality cannot disclose confidential information to unauthorised parties, and they also have to take great care to ensure that such information does not fall into the wrong hands. The duty of confidentiality applies to all personal matters.
